# Google Tag Manager

> Install the CustomerOS tracker via Google Tag Manager (not recommended)

<Warning>
  We don't recommend using Google Tag Manager as the majority of modern
  browsers who block scripts and trackers will prevent any scripts loading
  from Google Tag Manager. If you are okay with reducing the amount of signal
  that CustomerOS can collect, then you can install it using the following
  steps.
</Warning>

## Installation

Find the HTML Snippet in the CustomerOS app to add to your website.

1. Log in to [Google Tag Manager](https://tagmanager.google.com/)
2. Select your container
3. Click **Add a new tag**
4. Click **Tag Configuration** and choose **Custom HTML**
5. Paste the CustomerOS tracker script from the app
6. Under **Triggering**, select **All Pages**
7. Click **Save**
8. Click **Submit** to publish your changes

That's it. The tracker should now load on all pages where your GTM container is installed.
