CustomerOS currently supports 3 methods of sending emails:

  1. Personal accounts
  2. Shared outbound Gmail/Outlook accounts
  3. Hosted mail (MailStack)

Mail can be sent manually from Company’s timeline by the owner of personal accounts, and the linked sender of MailStack accounts. Anyone can send emails using shared outbound accounts via the Company timeline (see below).

We also support email automation through Flows.

Currently sending emails via Flows is limited to our hosted mail solution (Mailstack) but will be expanding to shared and personal accounts soon.

If you have signed into CustomerOS using your Google or Microsoft account it is likely you have already linked your email account and are ready to send emails already!

If not, just head to the Account settings page and link your accounts.

How to use MailStack to scale outbound emails safely

To get started with MailStack navigate to the MailStack settings page and follow the instructions there to get started with MailStack.

Each MailStack account can send up to 40 emails a day, we recommend using Flows to schedule these emails.
