Get notified the moment customers and prospects require your teams attention
Notifications are used in CustomerOS to inform users when a change in the system has occurred that is relevant to them.
These notifications can be system generated (a task due reminder), user generated (assigning a user as an owner of an organization) or externally generated (an email has been replied to).
CustomerOS is aware of what users are active in the application. If it senses a user active in the system, notifications will only be made to the user in the application. However if the user is inactive (left tab open or logged out), then the application will send the notification to their email.
Based on the criticality of the notification, CustomerOS may wait and batch up notifications to be sent on a daily basis, or it may send the notification immediately if the activity requires immediate action (prospecting email response).
The user is able to set the criticality of events in the system to help them manage what is important to them and prevent notification spam.
